
After the final match the prize giving ceremony was held. Shahriar Alam, MP, State Minister for Foreign Affairs distributed the prizes among the two-phase's winners as chief guest. Jasim Uddin, Vice-chairman of Bengal Group of Industries was also present as special guest in the occasion.
On Friday's final match, in the boy's singles event Mohammed Istiak beat Mehedi Hasan by 6-3, 6-1 sets while in the boy's doubles event Reday and Aurnab defeated Naimul Islam and Mohammed Istiak by 6-4, 6-4 sets.
The final round of the first phase and second phase of the competition was held on September 11 and September 18 respectively, organised by Bangladesh Tennis Federation and patronised by Bengal Group of Industries.
Including 26 players from Bangladesh, a total of 48 players (boys and girls) from different countries (Hong Kong, India and USA) participated in boys' and girls'
singles, boys' doubles and girls' doubles event in the competition.
