Habiganj : Police arrested two young men from Boglabazar in the district town on Tuesday afternoon on charge of violating a schoolgirl and uploading the video of the incident on Internet.

The arrested persons are :Rajon Dev, 21, son of Narayan Dev of Boglabazar, and Nurul Alam, 22, son of Makhon Mia of Umednagar, in the district town.

Local sources said one Siraj  Mia, 20, son of Selim Mia of Kamrapur area abducted a class VIII girl student of Habiganj BKGC Govt High School on August 26.

After the abduction, Siraj violated the girl and his friend Nurul Alam  videoed the scene on his cell phone.

Later, they spread the video on Internet. Rajon also sold the video copies to some of his friends.

As the girl's father watched the video on Monday, he filed a case with the Sadar police accusing three youths.

Sadar thana OC M Nazimuddin confirmed the matter.
