A Dhaka court on Saturday ordered to send Hummam Quader Chowdhury, the son of death row convict war criminal Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury, to jail in connection to a case filed in 2008.

Metropolitan Magistrate Meher Nigar Suchana came up with the order as Dhanmondi Police produced him before the CMM court.   
The court, however, fixed Sunday to hear his bail petition.

Hummam was arrested from city's Dhanmondy area in the morning in connection with an attempt to murder case filed with Gulshan Police Station in the capital in 2008.

Earlier, a  Dhaka court issued arrest warrant against him.
