
Awami League-backed Bangabandhu Prokoushali Parishad panel has confirmed landslide victory on election to the executive committee of the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).
The result of the apex body of the country's professional engineers was published on Friday.
Md Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan, Chief Engineer of Public Works Department and a freedom fighter, who was elected as the President, and Engr Md Abdus Sabur, a Director of Agrani Bank, was elected as the General Secretary.

On the other hand, Engr M Ataul Mahmud, Khandker Manjur Morshed, Engr M Shahadat Shely and Engr M Nurujjaman were elected as Vice Presidents.
