Ashulia shoe factory catches fire

Shoe manufacturing factory at Ashulia catches fire on Sunday evening, said inspector of Ashulia thana Dipak Kumar Shaha.

He told the media that fire originates at godown of Akij Footwear Limited at 5:45pm on Sunday and it spreads to entire factory. 

A total of 10 fire units from Mirpur, Ashulia, Savar, Epz and Gazipur are working to extinguish it. 

It could not be known immediately, if anyone is affected or not.
