Sylhet : Police on Tuesday night arrested security guard Moyna Mia, one of the four accused of the killing of 13-year-old boy Samiul Alam Rajan in Sylhet district.

Police with the help of local people arrested Moyna Mia, 45, from  Tuker Bazar area, outskirts of the city, at about 10:30pm, said Jalalabad Police Station OC Akter Hossain.

Meanwhile, Jalalabad thana SI  Aminul Islam was withdrawn from duty on Tuesday following allegation of his misbehavious with Rajan’s father.
 
Sylhet Metropolitan Police’s Additional Deputy Commissioner Rahmat Ullah confirmed the matter.

Rajan, a vegetable vendor,  was beaten to death at Kumargaon village in Sadar upazila on July 8.
 
The other three accused in the case filed by police are Muhith Alam, Kamrul Islam and Haider Ali.
 
Of them, only Haider Ali is still on the run.
