Comilla: Four people were killed and 13 others injured in a collision between a bus and a truck on Dhaka-Chittagong Highwayat Noabazar in Chouddagram upazila on Saturday evening.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Witnesses said the accident took place as a Pirojpur-bound bus of ‘Baleshwar Paribahan’ hit a stationary truck around 7pm, leaving 17 of its passengers injured.
Later, two of the injured died on the way to Comilla Medical College Hospital, while two others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, said in-charge of Noabazar Highway Police Station M Nazim Uddin.
Police seized the bus.
