Comedian Rashed Rana Pappu passed away at his Lalbagh residence in the capital early Monday. He was 47.

Family members said, Pappu breathed his last around 4am soon after taking sehri. He had been suffering from heart disease for a long time. 

He left behind his wife, son and a host of relatives and fans to mourn his death.
