BEIJING, June 28 : China is working on a new law which stipulates a jail sentence for those who copy in university entrance examination or use proxy examinees to sit in the tests on their behalf. The new draft legislation is being considered by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the Chinese parliament. Chinese students need to pass a nationwide examination called Gaokao to get admissions in universities across the country. ?TNN
