Kamal says on condition of Razzak's returnStaff Correspondent State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Tuesday alleged that Myanmar had done excesses on the BGB Nayek Razzak abduction issue by tagging condition of taking back 556 men from the country. "However, the Myanmar government has finally agreed to return the abducted BGB Nayek without any condition. He will be brought back soon by holding a flag meeting between BGB and BGP," Kamal told reporters after a meeting held at his Ministry. Earlier, the State Minister chaired the 27th meeting of National Acid Control Council held at the Secretariat while senior officials and committee members attended. On Monday, the Myanmar authority said they will hand over Razzak if Bangladesh agrees to bring back 556 rescued migrants from Myanmar claiming them as Bangladeshi nationals. Kamal said, "I came to know through TV channels Monday night that they had put a condition to Razzak's return. They are doing excesses as the issue of Razzak and return of 556 men are quite different." Myanmar demanded earlier on various occasions that 556 men must be taken back by Bangladesh. "We will bring them back only on confirmation that they are Bangladeshis," the State Minister added. Myanmar's Border Guard Police (BGP) opened fire on a Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) patrol boat in the Naf River at Teknaf of Cox's Bazar district in the early hours of last Wednesday. BGB soldier Biplob Kumar suffered bullet wounds during the firing and BGB Nayek Abdur Razzak was abducted by the BGP.
