SYLHET, Jun 21: A faction of pro-Awami League teachers of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) on Sunday continued their movement demanding immediate removal of its Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Aminul Haque Bhuyan from his post.
They, under the banner of "Mohan Muktijuddher Chetonay Udbuddho Shikkhakgon," observed a sit-in programme in front of the VC's office at noon as planned earlier.
Mentioning that the VC was involved with corruption, nepotism, financial opacity, irregularity and also misbehaved with teachers, agitated teachers at that time demanded immediate removal of VC from his post.
