Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers' Association (FBUTA) on Sunday demanded formation of a Commission to introduce an independent pay scale for the public university teachers.
They also demanded immediate revision of the 8th national pay-scale, keeping senior professors and senior secretaries of the government in an equal scale of payment.
FBUTA General Secretary Professor ASM Maksud Kamal placed the demands at a press conference held at DU Club.
