Bank Asia opened its 100th branch at Muksudpur in Gopalgonj on Sunday.
Former minister and lawmaker Lt. Col (Retd) Faruk Khan inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, said a press release.
Bank Asia Executive Committee Chairman Rumee A Hossain was present as the special guest, while its President and Managing Director Md Mehmood Husain presided over the inaugural ceremony.
Chairman of Muksudpur Upazila Ashraful Alam Shimul and Muksudpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Khairuzzaman spoke on the occasion.
Members of the business community, local elite and a large number of people attended the function.  The new branch has all the modern banking facilities including on-line banking and ATM.
