The law enforcers on Sunday recovered the hanging bodies of a newly-wed couple from the capital's Badda area.
The deceased were identified as Sahin and his wife Rubi. They were living at a house near the Ananda Bazar Agriculture Market.
MA Jalil, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Badda Police Station, said that the bodies were recovered after breaking open the door of their bedroom around 12:00pm.
The bodies were found hanging from a ceiling fan, upon which those were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
