A four-day long training programme on transparency, accountability, inclusivity and citizenship started at Baksimoil union under Mohanpur upazila in Rajshahi on Friday.
A total of 36 youths took part in the training organized by PRODIGY Programme of British Council and The Hunger Project-Bangladesh.
PRODIGY is a 21-month long programme that aims to build the capacity of young people to ensure good governance, says a press release.
Women and the marginalized people have been given priority in the selection of the participants.
The trainees will be able to identify the problems of Baksimoil union, announce the problems among all the people, policymakers and the local government representatives and implement the Social Action Project after completing the training course.
The training includes several individual and group presentations on social issues through which participants will demonstrate their creativities and communication skills.
The training is being conducted by Subrata Kumar Paul, Md Masum Rusel and Md Israfil Hossain of PRODIGY Programme.
