Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) organised a meeting of its Shari`ah Supervisory Committee at the bank's head office in the city on Thursday.
The bank's Shari`ah Supervisory Committee Chairman Sheikh Moulana Mohammad Qutubuddin presided over the meeting, said a press release.
Managing Director of the bank Mohammad Abdul Mannan was present on the occasion.
IBBL Shari'ah Supervisory Committee Vice-chairman Mufti Sayed Ahmad, Member Secratery Dr Abu Bakr Rafique, members Mohammad Siriajul Islam, Abdur Raquib, Mufti Shamsuddin Zia, Moulana Abdus Shaheed Naseem, Dr Hasan Mohd. Moinuddin, Dr ASM Toriqul Islam,  Dr Mohammad Abdus Samad, Dr Mohammad Manzur-e-Elahi and Moulana Mohiuddin Rabbani, and Deputy Managing Director Md Habibur Rahman Bhuiyan and executive vice-presidents Md Shamsul Huda and Mohammed Shahid Ullah attended the meeting.
 The meeting took various decisions on compliance of Shari'ah and expressed satisfaction on overall activities of the bank.
