PSC recommends 149 more in non-cadre posts from 33rd BCS

Public Service Commission (PSC) has put forth a recommendation to the government for recruitment of 149 more Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) qualified aspirants who were not earlier recommended for recruitment in cadre or non-cadre class-I posts in class-II non-cadre posts.
The recommendation was sent to the concerned offices of the government on June 8, a press release signed by the PSC's Examination Controller AEM Nesaruddin said on Tuesday.
According to the recommendation, the qualified aspirants of 33rd BCS would be appointed on temporary basis after qualifying in the health test and police verifications.
Of the 149 candidates, 60 were recommended as Assistant Upazila Education Officer at the Department of Primary Education, 19 as Upazila Women Affairs Officer and Programme Officer at the Department of Women Affairs, 17 as Additional Assistant Tax Commissioner at the National Board of Revenue, 12 as Assistant Cypher Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, seven as Chief Instructor and one as Junior Instructor at the Department of Jute, six as Craft Instructor (chemistry and physics) at the Bureau of Manpower Recruitment and Training (BMET), four as Assistant Research And Education Officer, Assistant Protocol Officer and Administrative Officer at the Parliament Secretariat, six as Executive Officer at the office of the Import and Export Chief Controller, seven as Examiner of Accounts and Inspector at the office of the Registrar Of The Joint Stock Companies and Firms, one as Examiner at the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection, eight as Junior Chemist, Assistant Biochemist and Inspector or Investigator at the Department of Environment and one as Assistant Information Officer at the Department of Mass Communication.
PSC published the results of 33rd BCS examination on November 1, 2013.
Some 15,991 candidates had come out successful. Among them, some 8,529 students obtained cadre status.
