State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and six others have received death threat through a letter.

The six others are former Dhaka University VC AK Azad Chowdhury, Dr. Abu Md. Delwar Hossain, Shomi Kaiser, Abu Musa Md Masuduzaman, Amjad Ali and Dr Akhtaruzzaman.

Azad Chowdhury received the letter, issued by Al Qaeda Ansarullah Bangla-13, Tuesday.

DU acting proctor Amjad Ali confirmed the matter to the media.

A general diary was filed at Dhanmodi police station.

Earlier, the same group threatened 10 personalities, including Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique, with death.
