CHUADANGA, Jun 1: A day-long free medical camp was held at Baka Union Parishad Complex under Jibannagar upazila   of the district on Sunday.
Wave Foundation, a local NGO, and Baka Union Parishad jointly organised the medical camp.
 Upazila Health and family Planning Officer Dr Rawshan Ara inaugurated the programme as chief guest in presence of huge gathering at 10 am in the morning while Panel Chairman of the union parishad Shahabuddin presided over the function.
According to sources, about 150 patients were given treatment and also free medicines were provided among the poor and ultra poor Patients.  Dr Golam Rahman conducted the free medical camp.      
 Ashrafuzzaman,  co-coordinator of the health camp, Nutrition Consultant of Unicef  Romana Sharmin, Secretary of Jibannagar Press Club Munshi Mahabubur Rahman,  local elites and journalists, among others ,were also present in the function.
