
Liu Yandong came up with the assurance when she met Bangladesh Speaker and CPA chairperson Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury at her
Parliament Secretariat office.
During the meeting, they discussed various bilateral issues, including trade, investment, said a Parliament Secretariat release.
Noting that the China-Bangladesh friendly relations are very strong and old the Chinese Vice Premier hoped that the ties will be
strengthened further in the future alongside boosting bilateral trades.
Liu Yandong said Bangladesh has adopted many successful policies to face various economic and social challenges. China can be benefited from the experiences of Bangladesh.
Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury said there is scope for Bangladesh and China to work together in alleviating poverty, coping with the
adverse impact of climate change and regional cooperation.
The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Executive Committee Chairperson hoped that Chine will the play expected from it in Bangladesh’s economic development by helping it improve its infrastructures.
Chinese Education Minister Yuan Guiren, vice minister for foreign affairs Liu Zhenming, vice minister for cultural affairs Ding Wei and Chinese ambassador in Dhaka Ma Mingqiang were present.
