A 22-year-old indigenous woman filed a case against five unidentified miscreants on Friday afternoon after she had been gang-raped in a microbus in the capital on Thursday night.

UNB adds: Quoting from the case statement, Bhatara Police Station sub-inspector Khurshed told UNB that the 22-year-old Garo woman was forcefully picked up in a microbus by miscreants from Kuril Bus Stand around 9:30pm on Thursday as she was waiting for transport to go to her residence after leaving her work at a showroom in the area.

After abducting the victim, the microbus kept roaming around the locality and the miscreants, numbering five, raped her one after another.

Later, the miscreants throw her out of the microbus at Jasimuddin Road in Uttara on Thursday midnight when local people rescued her and took her to a local hospital, according to the case statement.
