Md Sakiul Islam Shakil and Arifur Reza Emon have been made President and General Secretary respectively putting an end to the speculations over Bangladesh Chhatra League's Chapainawabganj unit committee.
Maruf Ahmed Shawon was made the new committee's Organising Secretary. BCL's central President and General Secretary announced the new body on Wednesday, a press release said.
The new leaders are supposed to lead the country's oldest student organisation for the next one year.
Both the top two leaders are undergraduate students. Shakil is the student of Law Department at the privately-run Darul Ihsan University while Emon is the final year student of English Department at Nababganj Government College.
