Silence approach in tech literacy

Tamzidul Amin lost his father during his graduation period. The family responsibilities with two sisters and mother came to his shoulder. Tanzidul felt hard when he stepped out from home and applied for jobs with graduation degree. He realized the value of experience as well as practical knowledge.
The light came to Tamjidul when his eyes went to a training announcement on information technology. He did not delay on that situation. He applied immediately and grabbed the training programme with scholarship. The days are changed then. Tamjid is now serving a leading telecom operator, Banglalink as Business Intelligence Engineer.
Shajahan Ali had a dream to be a high official from his academic life. To touch the dream, he completed his post-graduation at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology in Economics. The ever dream turned nightmare when he appeared viva at public service examination, BCS.
He came to the capital searching a job to survive. The job placement with the back ground of humanity group is very rare. He got shelter in his friend's home. His friend suggested him to apply in IDB-BISEW scholarship programme of Islamic Development Bank. IT literacy with monthly scholarship was a great experience for Shajahan. Completing the training programme he became a Oracle certified professional and no serving the Square Informatix .
Muhammad Kazon Reza Chowdhury faced harder situation than Tamjid and Shahjahan when he dropped out from public university admission race and completed a graduation from National University with the tag of Vagabond. Attending the training programme, Karzon tried to recover himself from the curse of fate. He is now serving the Domain Technologies, a leading technology company in Malaysia as Global Support Engineer.
That was a simple capture from the wide range of success stories from the trainees of the IDB-BISHWA scholarship programme especially on information technology. The training programme raised a silence revolution in the ICT literacy of the young dreamful brave Bangladeshis. 
Not only providing the practical updated training, the programme officials help trainees to search the suitable job placements. The trainees get the real respect in their socio economic life then. There is allotted expense behind a trainees is Tk 1 lakh and 25 thousand. Besides, the expense for Vendor certification is Tk 25 thousand and other cost is Tk 2 thousands per month for a trainees. The trainees get Tk 2 thousands for incidental cost every month.
The era of revolution
The programme started in 2003 as professional course. The international certification from Microsoft and Oracle gave the extra advantage in the programme within short time. There is over ten thousands of trainees got technology based practical education up to its 28th round of training programme.
Some five thousands of trainees have got job placements in supervision of the training related officials. They are working for difference national and international companies and shined in own path. Someone got recognition from international level at home.  Muhammad EnamulHuq is one of the examples who got award from Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) in freelancing category. Enamul is working to develop a youth community to promote outsourcing with online.
The Scholarship method
The applicants are called though a transparent method. They are called for retain examination after reviewing the applications and relevant papers. The programme always promotes talent due to low grad points. Sometime many computer science graduates failed the examination in compet with low grad holders. Some 300 students can enrol here in each phase where a total of one thousands and two hundred students. The applicants are called for retain examination after reviewing the application.
There is held a retain examination of 100 marks in Multiple Choice Question method before viva including English and Mathematics.
After completing the selection process, the training programme is started at the first week of the month July. The reputed technology related personals train the young trainees four hours each of the six days in a week. There are 26 respective organizations maintain the international quality in training tools. All activities are supervised centrally.
One of the training provider organizations, Daffodil Institute of IT Executive Director Muhammad Muruzzaman said: The professional training programme of IDB BISEW is difference than other trainings.  The trainees and trainers complete the schedule with their joint forces and co-ordination. One of the major areas of the training programnme is punctuality,"
Technology courses
The training course is designed focusing on the present universal interest in relevant field. The incentive care from trainers help young trainees came from urban areas to adapt with new environment. There are 8 categories in training programme including basics on computer literacy.
There are 8 categories including - Computer Fundamental, Architecture and Civil Cad, Computer assisted animation, Database design and development, Enterprise System analytics and Design, Networking and Web presence solution and Implementation in the training programme. Some 75 per cent of the trainees come from urban areas.
International certification
The trainees can easily apply in RHCE, MCSE, OSP etc IT vendor certification examination of Microsoft and Oracle at free of cost.  About 95 per cent of total trainees are serving difference public and private agencies at national and international levels.
One of the good initiative of IDB BISEW, Online Career Hub help fellows to connect with success seniors. The initiative increase the job placement ratio in high scale. The Chief Executive of the organization, Niaz Khan said: We are not bound our self in jobs circulars. We are working on a network where all the students are connected among others.  We move with the joint initiative of students and trainers. These kind of co-operation is very rare in our country. Every student is an ambassador of our programme.
The IDB BISEW students have involved with many cross border activities in Malaysia, Abu Dhabi, Canada, America and Singapore competing with BUET graduates. They have got on average 50 thousands of salary after the training in general.  Someone developed own enterprise.
