Earlier on Monday, a group of miscreants attacked Khaleda Zia’s motorcade during her electioneering in the city’s Karwanbazar area in favour of her party-backed Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayoral candidate Tabith Awal.
BNP alleged that the ruling party activists attacked her motorcade at Karwanbazar and sprayed bullets at her personal vehicle, slightly damaging its windowpane.
With the damaged vehicle, Khaleda went out for carrying out electioneering for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday evening.
She carried out the campaign at Shajahanpur, Shantinagar and Nayapaltan area seeking vote for Abbas.
