A Dhaka Court on Monday granted bail to Shahid Commissioner of old Dhaka in an arms case after 14 months in custody.
Fourth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Court Judge Ruhul Amin passed the order following his Counsel Advocate Mosharrof Hossain Kajol's bail plea.
Earlier on February 4 in 2014, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB - 10) nabbed Shahid Commissioner with three foreign-made revolvers and 62 round bullets from his Shatish Sarker Lane residence under Gandaria Thana.
An arms case was filed with Gandaria Thana on that day in this connection.
Earlier, a Dhaka court sentenced him death penalty in Advocate Habibur Rahman Mondal murder case, after ten years of the murder.
However, later, the High Court acquitted him from the murder case.
