Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) organised its board meeting at the bank's head office in the city on Saturday, said a press release.
 The bank's Chairman (Acting) Engineer Mustafa Anwar presided over the meeting, said a press release.
Local and foreign directors of the bank along with its Managing Director Mohammad Abdul Mannan were present in the meeting.
The meeting thanked the management for evaluating the performance of the bank over the success and progress achieved so far and adopted some important business policy.
Besides, the management was advised to play pioneer role in industry and employment generation by enhanching investment for accelerating the national economy.
