The family members of death-row war criminal Muhammad Kamaruzzaman entered Dhaka Central Jail on Saturday afternoon to meet him for the last time.
Twenty one family members of the Jamaat leader went to the jail around 4:10pm with two micro-bus.
Sources said Kamaruzzaman’s two sons could not meet with their father as they have been staying abroad.
Off them, Hasan Ekram has been studying in Sweden while Hasan Zaman is in Malaysia for his telecommunication job.
Earlier in the day, the jail authorities asked the family members to meet the jamaat assistant secretary general between 4:00pm and 5:00pm.

Earilier on Monday, the family members of convicted war criminal Kamaruzzaman met him at the Dhaka Central Jail .
Kamaruzzaman's wife Nurun Nahar along with her sons and daughters met the Jamaat-e-Islami assistant secretary general inside the jail around 6:45pm.
The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday rejected Jamaat senior assistant secretary general M Kamaruzzaman's review petition against its previous verdict upholding the death penalty handed down
by the International Crimes Tribunal-2 for his war crimes.
A four-member bench of the Appellate Division, headed by Chief Justice SK Sinha, dismissed the review petition of the Jamaat leader.
