Dhaka Central Jail authority has received the executive order over the execution of death-row war crimes convict Muhammad Kamaruzzaman on Saturday afternoon.

Central Jail sources said the order reached at about 2:50pm  and later it was read out to Kamaruzzaman.

Earlier, State Minister Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal signed the file containing the executive order.

Meanwhile, the prison authorities have asked Kamaruzzaman’s family to meet him at the jail between 4:00pm and 5:00pm on Saturday.
