BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia reached at Bakshibaza special court on Sunday morning to seek bail in Zia Charitable Trust and Zia Orphanage Trust graft cases filed against her.
She entered the court premises around 10:40am.
Earlier, the BNP chief headed for the court from her Gulshan residence around 9:58am.
Additional police have been deployed on the court premises for security.
In the morning, Khaleda's counsel Sanaullah Miah submitted bail petitions before the Special Judge's Court-3 in the two graft cases.
Recordings of deposition by the witnesses in the two corruption cases are scheduled for the day.
On Mar 4, Dhaka's Third Metropolitan Special Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar set the date after scrapping the defence’s plea to withdraw an arrest warrant issued against Khaleda.
The court issued an warrant on February 25, for the arrest of Khaleda and two other accused in the two graft cases.
