Miscreants shoot trader in capital, snatch Tk 1lakh

A trader was shot by unidentified miscreants in capital's New Market area early Saturday.

The victim is identified as--Sanu Miah, 32.

Bullet-hit Sanu said, two armed miscreants riding on a bike attacked him around 1am and shot him when he was returning home. Later, miscreants snatched away 1 lakh 20 thousand from him.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

DMCH police camp ASI Santu Chandra Das confirmed the news.
