Bangladesh National Under-23 Team stumbled by 2-0 margin to Mohammedan SC on Wednesday in their first practice match at the BKSP in Savar before the AFC U-23 Championship qualifiers-2016.
The youth team, which have ten senior players of the national team, was going through training under Dutch head coach, Lodewijk Darius de Kruif, assistant coach Saiful Bari Tito and German-born goalkeeping coach Christian Schweichler at the BKSP.
The defeat raised question about the condition of the team's performance before the qualifiers that is scheduled to take place at the Bangabandhu National Stadium from March 27-31.
A practice match was to be played against Singapore Under-23 team. But the players were not able to go there due to 'visa-related problem'. After that it was planned to play two practice matches instead at home in the meantime.
