Bhutan Airlines' flight to Dhaka from May

Bhutan Airlines, first private airline of the Kingdom of Bhutan, will operate regular flights to Dhaka from May, 2015.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bhutan Airlines Phala Dorji disclosed this at a function organised by Global Airways Pvt. Limited, General Sales Agent of Bhutan Airlines in Bangladesh, and their sister concern Kuliarchar Aviation Limited at a city hotel on Thursday, said a press release.
Bhutanese Ambassador Pema Choden, lawmaker M Nazmul Hassan, Bhutan Airlines Executive Director Tshenchok Thinlay, General Manager (Commercial) Ugyen Tenzin and IT Manager Tshitrim Dorji, Kuliarchar Group Chairman Md Musa Meah and Executive Director Mehnaz Tabassum, Global Airways Acting Managing Director Abrar Mahmud and Executive. Director Akhter Uddin Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
The flight will be operated in the Paro-Dhaka-Bangkok route thrice a week at the initial stage.
Its flights will be operated by Airbus A-319/320 with twin class configuration -- business and economy.
Bhutan Airlines is Bhutan's first private airline, owned by Tashi Group of Companies- a business conglomerate in Bhutan since 1954.
The airlines started its international operations on October 2013 and presently operates schedule services to Kathmandu and Kolkata .
