
Reading a written statement at a media conference on Friday at her Gulshan office, she flayed the ruling Awami League for scrapping the caretaker government system.
“That’s the root of all problems,” the former prime minister alleged.
Her party, which sat out the 2014 national polls, is enforcing a violent anti-government agitation since Jan 5 to press for a snap-election.
She has been staying there since Jan 3. This is the first time she has come out in front of the media since then.
“The Awami League, particularly Sheikh Hasina is responsible for the problem,” Khaleda alleged.
