After PM’s passage, crude bombs exploded at Karwan Bazar

A number of crude bombs were exploded at Karwan Bazar intersection just after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina passed the area.

Officer-in-Charge of Tejgaon Police Station Mazharul Islam said a member of police was hurt in the incident.

He told the media that three crude bombs were exploded near underpass of Karwan Bazar after 10 minutes when the Prime Minister passed the area. 

The Prime Minister was going to join a rally at Suhrawardi Udyan to mark Historic March 7.

ASI Mahbub of Tejgaon thana received minor injury, the OC said.

Amid nonstop blockade and frequent hartal enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance, stray incidents of bomb blasts are being taking place across the country.
