Advocate Tajul Islam, counsel for Jamaat-e-Islami leaders in the war crimes cases including M Kamaruzzaman, was reportedly picked up law enforcers from the city’s Paltan area on Thursday.

Advocate Tajul was picked up by police from his Paltan chamber in the evening, said Barrister Shisir Monir, another counsel for Kamaruzzaman, quoting his family members.

However, neither Paltan thana police nor Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police confirmed his arrest.
