The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations scheduled for March 1 have been shifted to March 14 due to the BNP-led 20-party alliance's 72-hour hartal that will begin on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, the government fixed March 13 for the examinations which were earlier scheduled for February 12. The examinations dated on February 12 were also deferred due to shutdown.
The examinations of March 13 are scheduled to begin at 9:00am while the exams of March 14 will begin at 10:00am.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement at a press briefing held at his residence in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
The examinations scheduled for March 3 (Tuesday) have been postponed, and the new date will be announced later.
