Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna is being taken to court on Wednesday afternoon.

Gulshan Thana SI Sohel Rana filed a case under section 131 of the Penal Code against Manna on Tuesday for instigating the armed forces.

SI Abdul Barek will plea for a 10-day remand after producing Manna with court of Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman.

Early Tuesday, Manna's wife and his niece said that a group of plainclothes men introducing themselves as detectives picked up Manna from his relative's house in the capital's Banani area.
