Pabna, Feb 20: A student of Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his room in Mansurabad residential area on the outskirt of the district town on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Mehedi Hasan Pervez, 22, a second semester student of the EEE department of the university.
Police said getting no response from the room of Pervez, the other roommates of Mehedi informed the matter to police who recovered the hanging body of Mehedi, breaking open the door around 8:00am.    ?UNB
