Laxmipur : The bullet-riddle body of a Jubo Dal leader of Bhangakhan union in Sadar upazila was found in a canal on Thursday morning.

The dead was identified as M Bablu, 25, Bhangakhan union Jubo Dal assistant organizing secretary.

He was the son of Habibullah of Radapur village.

Family members said Bablu went out of his house on Wednesday afternoon. But did not return home at night. His body was found floating in a canal at Niamatpur Dolakandi.

Later, police recovered the body that bore five bullets.
