BOGRA, Feb 17: Two people were killed and four others injured in separate road accidents on Tuesday in Bogra.
ASP Gaziur Rahman of Bogra said that the first accident took place at Bablatola area under Kahaloo upazila in the morning when a Bogra-bound truck collided head-on with a truck coming from opposite direction around 6:00am, leaving driver Abu Salek dead on the spot.
In another incident at Sazadpur Mondolpara under Bogra, a sand-laden truck lost control and hit a passerby named Rana Ahmed.
Locals rescued the injured and sent him to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital (SZRMCH), where the injured succumbed to his injuries.
