Indian PM Modi phones Hasina

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a phone call to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday morning to wish Bangladesh team's success in the ICC Cricket World Cup-2015.

Sources of the PM's office said, Modi talked to Hasina over phone around 10:30am Friday.

UNB adds, PM's Deputy Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan said that the APS-2 of the Indian Prime Minister called the ADC of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and informed that the Indian Prime Minister wanted to talk to his Bangladeshi counterpart. "After that, both the leaders talked to each other," said he.

Meanwhile, the Indian Prime Minister in his tweeter account tweeted: "Spoke to President Ashrafghani, PM Sheikh Hasina, PM Nawaz Sharif & President Sirisena. Conveyed my best wishes for the Cricket World Cup."
