Barisal: Three people were killed when miscreants hurled a petrol bomb at a truck on Dhaka-Barisal highway at Mahilara area in Gournadi upazila early Saturday.

Among three victims, two were identified as--truck driver Izazul and helper Munnu,

Gournadi Police Station officer in-charge Sazzad Hossain said, the miscreants hurled the petrol bomb at the Barisal-bound poultry-laden truck, leaving its driver and two others dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed in and recovered the bodies.
