Staff Correspondent Badda High School students and their guardians formed a human chain near BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's political office at Gulshan, where she has been living since January 3, in the capital on Saturday morning demanding withdrawal of hartal and blockade during Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations, scheduled to start from Monday. Over two hundred students formed the human chain for around half an hour at 10:30am at the end of the Street-86, Gulshan-2, where the building is situated. They left the place after half an hour of demonstration. A group of students and their parents submitted a memorandum to Khaleda Zia demanding that blockade and shutdown programmes be called off during the tests across Bangladesh. The students formed the 'human chain' carrying placards inscribed with slogans -"We want to sit for SSC exams safely", "Don't hurl bomb on us", "We want to go to school safely", "We want to study, we want peace, don't kill us, don't burn us".
