BARISAL, Jan 27: Police in a drive arrested a man and recovered two petrol bombs from Ekota Bazaar area under Muladi upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The arrested was Suman Fakir, 35, son of local BNP leader Sultaln Fakir of Kajirchar area of the upazila.
On a tip-off a team of police from Muladi thana conducted the drive in the area at about 9.30 am and arrested Suman with the bombs from a shop, said officer-in-charge of the thana M Alauddin.
