Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed on Sunday admitted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was not treated cordially at BNP chief’s Gulshan office.
“The Prime Minister was not shown courtesy, and it was not right,” former law Minister told reporters at BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office in the evening. Blaming the officials of Gulshan office, he also said Khaleda Zia did not know the matter.
After hearing the death news of Khaleda Zia’s younger son Koko, Sheikh Hasina on Saturday evening rushed to the office of Khaleda Zia to console her.
But the prime minister was turned away from the gate as the BNP chairperson was put to sleep by her doctors.
Khaleda's youngest son Arafat Rahman Koko died in Malaysia after suffering a cardiac arrest on Saturday.
