AL Publicity and Publication Secretary Hasan Mahmud said these at a press conference at AL President’s Dhanmondi office in the capital on Sunday.
Hasan Mahmud said former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia’s younger son Arafat Rahman Koko died on Saturday.
“We expressed deep shock at the premature death of Koko. We convey sympathy to Khaleda Zia and her family. We seek blessings of the departed soul. We hope Khaleda Zia and her family would overcome the loss”, Mahmud said.
Koko, the younger son of former president Ziaur Rahman, died of cardiac arrest in Malaysia on Saturday at the age of 45.
