PABNA, Jan 10: To mark its 5th anniversary, Kaler Kantho, a Bengali daily, honoured Professor Shibajit Nag, an eminent teacher of Pabna, at Pabna Press Club on Saturday. 
Professor Shibajit Nag, who retired as principle of Government Bulbul College, is also former president of Pabna Press Club and associated with different cultural and social organisations in and outside the district.
Anjan Chowdhury Pintu, renowned industrialist and managing director of Maasranga Television, attended the function as chief guest, while Deputy Commissioner of Pabna Kazi Asarf Uddin, and Police Super Miraj Uddin Ahmmed attended it as special guests. M Saidul Hque Chunnu, Pabna district administrator, chaired the function.
Renowned journalist Ranesh Maitra and Anowarul Haque also spoke at the function, while Rabiul Islam Rabi, Abdul Matin Khan and other representatives from different organisations and institutions were present.
