Tangail : Three members of a family were killed in a road accident at Porabari in Ghatail upazila on Saturday.

The dead were identified as Sumon, 30, his sister Asma, 35, and niece Maria, 6. They all hailed from Kazirvita in Gopalpur.

Ghatail thana OC Mojhlesur Rahman said a truck rammed into a motorcycle, on which the three were travelling, coming from opposite direction at about 4:45pm, killing them on the spot.
