Comilla: The railway communications of Chittagong with Dhaka resumed on Saturday after four hours of disruption.
The communication became normal around 10am.
Comilla Railway assistant engineer Mostafizur Rahman confirmed the news.
Earlier, the rail links came to a halt as four wheels of the engine and two wheels of a compartment of Chittagong-bound Mahanogor Godhuli Express veered off the tracks around 6:30amam.
Mostafizur Rahman said, miscreants uprooted about three feet of the track anytime at night .
There was no report of casualties.
A number of trains remain stranded at the station following the derailment.
Later, a rescue train from Laksam reached the spot and started repairing the rail lines.
