Three cocktails were exploded near the kitchen market of Gulshan 2 in the capital on Wednesday afternoon, creating panic among the people.

Witnesses said three cocktails were thrown from either the kitchen market or the roof of Gol Chattar adjacent market at about 3:20pm.

On information, police rushed in an conducted a search operation.

Gulshan thana operation officer Sheikh Sohel Rana said a team has been sent to the spot and a hunt is on to nab the culprits.

Besides, additional police have been deployed in the area to take control the situation.
